Hand Crafted, Custom Built Carriages
We are a small business who provide a personal service. Every carriage manufactured is designed & hand-built to suit the individual requirements of the horse/pony and driver. Carriages are built to fit miniature ponies as well as full size horses and furthermore to suitthe driver & passengers. All the carriages shown are examples of the work we undertake and most can be seen in regular use at our Centre. We also undertake restoration and repair work on quality carriages. We offer our customers the benefit of engineering expertise combined with 35 years experience in carriage driving for competition: horse driving trials and showing, and as a commercial interest: weddings/film work and tuition of drivers and horses. So we appreciate what is required for driver and horse. Whether you know what you want, or remain unsure, we can discuss your requirements and offer you practical advice and design and build what YOU & your horse requires. We are proud of our well-engineered custom-built quality carriages. Quality comes at a price and we do not seek to compete with the mass produced market and do not make things called “starter vehicles” which are very basic, often poorly balanced and engineered with no adjustments, on pneumatic tyres and using cheap parts. We want new customers to enjoy the sport of carriage driving and we are pleased to advise from our wealth of experience of carriage building and driving. We build solid, safe, durable carriages.
