Surrounded by splendid countryside in the Cheviot foothills, this traditional cosy 18th century stone cottage is located on a quiet single track lane & is an ideal base for those wishing to combine equestrian interests with a holiday in an area of natural beauty and historical significance. We have facilities for horses and well behaved dogs are welcomed. Delightful cosy and light living/dining room with open fire, stripped pine floors, stunning south facing views. Double sofa bed (for alternative sleeping) Full central heating from open fire & back-up part Night Storage heaters. Solid fuel and electricity included* (*£15per week supplement on winter rate) Well equipped pine kitchen; dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, auto washer. Pretty double bedroom (hairdryer), additional twin bedded room. Shower room with walk in shower, hinged seat & handrail, shaver point. Cot available by prior arrangement. Enclosed garden with furniture, parking for cars, horse boxes/trailers. Horses on Holiday too! Stabling, grazing, hay & bedding all on site. (Charge quoted dependent on your horses needs) We're delighted to welcome visiting horses. We have trained & qualified staff to look after your horses and knowledgeable advice and friendly help is readily available. Over the years we have worked hard to create a relaxed environment whilst maintaining high professional standards of horse management & tuition of which we are justly proud.
